Robert and Laura

Life’s a song

As we cycle along

And I don’t care

If skies are gray

Or if skies are fair

For even rain

Torrential as can be

Cannot dampen the joy

That this grandchild

This very special boy

Even now at seventeen

Enjoys being seen

Biking with me

You are a whirlwind to me

Your eddies stir up my day

And drive boredom away

You blow through here

In gusts of youthful fun

Until joy and I are on
